Resort
Worawia Resort Mele
Worawia Resort Mele (formerly Worawia Holiday Haven), is a small Vanuatu holiday
lodge, situated just outside of Port Vila, in Mele village, next door to Port Vila Golf & Country Club.
Worawia resort accommodation includes self-contained bungalows and deluxe dormitory. Our bungalows
and dormitory feature polished wooden floors, home-style kitchenette, woven bamboo walls and separate bedrooms.
Worawia's fully furnished bungalows will be your home away from home where you choose how much of a holiday you
would like to enjoy. At our low prices and weekly specials.
Holiday resort for everyone
At Worawia resort we provide holiday accommodation for single travellers, families, and groups.
Being only a small resort, almost like a lodge, the service is a little more personal and we'll have time to listen
to what you want.
This budget holiday resort provides the following holiday accommodation:
-
One large 3-bedroom Family Bungalow
-
Two one-bedroom Regular Bungalows
-
One Couples Bungalow, and
-
4-room Dormitory Bungalow
Self-contained bungalows
The Family Bungalow has three bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen/dining/sitting room,
and a traditionally styled verandah with deck chairs. One bedroom has a double bed, while the other two have
double-decker single bunk beds. This large bungalow can accommodate up to six people. There are also free-standing
wardrobes in all three bedrooms.

Newly refurbished Worawia bungalows offer relaxing holiday
atmosphere
The Regular Bungalows are designed for up to four people, although one will
generally be set aside for double share (two people) only. They all have a bedroom with double bed and wardrobe, a
bathroom, a kitchen/dining/sitting room, and a verandah. The two bungalows provide accommodation for up to four
people, and have either a sofa bed or a double-decker single bunk bed.
The Couples Bungalow is ideal for couples or honeymooners. It's the same size as
the Regular Bungalows, except that its bedding and lounge room arrangements are more oriented towards couples,
rather than a family.
The resort self-contained bungalows are cleaned every day and linen is changed every second day. A
laundry service (for a modest fee) is also available upon request.
All bungalows, or Fares (Faahr-rays) as they are known locally, are self-contained which allows
guests the freedom to choose either a home-away-from-home (self-catered) holiday or a complete 'bludge' (lazy)
holiday - with all meals prepared by your hosts.
Resort dormitory
Our most recent extension to Worawia resort is a deluxe
Dormitory Bungalow, designated for larger groups (up to 16 guests). Included are 4
separate rooms. Three of those rooms each have two double-decker bunkbeds, writing desk, vanity unit and
a 4-way partitioned, separately lockable wardrobe. The fourth room has a double bed instead of bunk
beds.
The Dormitory Bungalow also includes two bathrooms (each with 3 private shower
cubicles), a combined kitchen/dining area and sundeck. Prices are based on bed and breakfast
accommodation.

room facilities info.
