When you arrive to Bauerfiled International Airport, we’ll be waiting for you, whether you arrive early in the morning or late at night. Our driver will take you to Worawia Resort Mele in our air-conditioned mini bus. Upon your arrival to Worawia, our reception staff will sign you in and take you to your reserved bungalow or dorm room.
After you settle in and relax, you’re welcome to come to reception and peruse various information brochures and pamphlets about sightseeing activities and tours that are available in Vanuatu. Our staff will be there to assist if needed. For your convenience, we also provide public telephone, including international telephone and fax facilities, at near the cost.
Upon your arrival, we provide you with some complimentaries, such as coffee and tea sachets. But for your other immediate needs, we have a small kiosk with basic food, drinks and hygiene items. There are also various, unique hand-crafted works and souvenir items in the kiosk.
When you decide to go shopping, to wine and dine, or simply sightseeing to Port Vila, catch a public mini bus right at the resort’s side gate. The buses run approximately every half an hour during the day and less often after hours and on the weekends and public holidays.
Worawia Resort Mele is only 5-10 minutes bus ride from Port Vila. Child-minding service is available, if you want to spend some time on town of your own. Laundry and ironing services are also available – just ask any of our staff for assistance.

Every Tuesday night, the authentic Melanesian Feast Night used to be held at resort’s Feast House. Attendees could learn about local customs and origins, watch the local dancers perform for you, and sample the earth-oven prepared buffet-style local cuisine. Join in the fun and music with many guests, who come from other resorts in town to spend a music, food and dancing filled evening!
These days the Feast Night is held at Secret Garden, some 5 minutes walk down the road from Worawia. Previously known as Botanical Gardens, Secret Garden offers an unusual view of Vanuatu flora and fauna, its history and its culture. Well worth a visit to learn some quirky facts about Vanuatu.
If business has brought you over to Vanuatu, you will be pleased to know that we also have a small conference / meeting room which can be hired at reasonable costs. It’s equipped with flip chart, whiteboard, overhead projector, television and video player, tables and chairs. Suitable for small groups of up to a dozen attendees. Please enquire with us about your requirements. The room also doubles as TV room in the evenings, if you want to catch up on the news.
